Why Essential Oils During a Session

Essential oils are known to reduce stress and anxiety. Some have sedative properties and induce a calm, peaceful, uplifting and relaxed feeling. This reason alone makes it no surprise that they can be used during a Reiki session with a synergistic effect.

Some essential oils like Frankincense and Sandalwood can help us get grounded so they can be beneficial at the end of a session.

 

I have been using essential oils in my everyday life for some time now, like applying some Wild Orange drops on my surgical mask at the beginning of my shift during COVID to give me uplifting benefits, or some Peppermint oil again on my mask when I clean my chicken coop.

 

I attest to the benefits of  Rosemary oil to improve memory. I used it often while standing for my BCPS exam; the calming and centering properties were extremely useful. 

 

During our first session together I may find an energetic imbalance and if you are OK with the use of essential oils I may incorporate it to the session.
