Reiki for Animals

Reiki works really well to relieve pain and anxiety on our pets when it’s used as a complimentary therapy. Our four legged friends need Reiki as much as we do.  The sessions bring relieve not only to the recipient but to the family that sees symptoms getting better. Since many times animals may not be comfortable with someone new in the room or may be experiencing behavioral issues distance sessions come in handy. The sessions can be done while the animal is sleeping.

As Reiki practitioners we can help ease the transition during the last days of the pets life. Animal communicators often express that the animals are well aware of when death is approaching.

I raise chickens and use Reiki often on them. The bickering easily subsides and minor issues like limping have resolved with a few treatments. My mom laughs when I send eggs over with a note “huevos de gallinas felices” (eggs from happy hens).

It’s not uncommon to see dogs or cats jump to the treatment table during a Reiki session. They just love to bask in that healing energy and may even ask for it!

Riley Reiki for animals

“Oh thank you! Riley is sleeping peacefully right now. He really had a good night last night, not turning in circles for hours like he often does. Wow, I feel like he was calm last night and he was having a bad week. Monday night he was so bad, we thought it was the end”

Shelly C. , texted after a Reiki session,Riley was suffering from a brain tumor  and would have seizures often.

“Your Reiki made this awful experience so much easier on all of us, it made me feel so much better that he was giving/receiving positive energy and surrounded by peace. We are completely  heartbroken. We will always remember what you did for Riley”

Shelley C., texted after receiving my condolences on the death of her dog
